Cherven Traktor was formed in 2009 to further the preservation of Bulgarian folk music. From traditional folklore to the sounds of today, Cherven Traktor (Red Tractor) plays Bulgarian folk music on authentic folk instruments.
Band members are Nikolay Kolev-gadulka (bowed rebec), Donka Koleva-vocals, Belle Birchfield- tambura (long-necked lute), Michael Ginsburg - tupan (large drum)
